My First Article on Filipino Nurses Blog

Months ago, I decided to write a decent post regarding about my journey through nursing school on my blog so that other people, particularly those who have no idea what it will be like, would at least have an idea why I came to love it. This blog post, which was supposed to bear the same title as my college essay for a minor subject, was replaced with “Happiness Comes in Different Forms” to remind ourselves that even though there aren’t enough opportunities for us to become staff nurses here in the Philippines, happiness can still be achieved by going through different routes.

My “menopausal” condition (a term that I would jokingly use to describe my mood swings during menstruation and grumpy people) kept me confined to my bed most of the time, but that didn’t stop me from checking my Goodreads, Twitter, and Facebook accounts. Then, I decided to check the Filipino Nurses Blog’s website to see if my article has been posted since I almost forgot that it was already submitted over a week after my licensure exam.

Oh. My. Guidey. I know that my experiences and writing skills aren’t topnotch, but who would’ve thought that it received 11 Facebook likes from people that I don’t even know. I would’ve been happy enough to have my article posted on a well-known website, but this is just beyond my expectations. Thank you, readers. =)
